We run two different websites, and they behave differently:

The Platform — app.gamified.club. Where tutors run sessions and parents view their child's progress. Essential cookies only. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising. This is where children's data is processed, and we keep it deliberately clean.

The website — www.gamified.club. Our public marketing site. This site does use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it. No child logs in here and no student data is processed here.

If you are a parent or tutor using the Platform, nothing tracks you. If you are browsing the marketing website, standard web analytics apply, as described in Section 4.

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are strictly necessary for a site to work — keeping you logged in, for example. Others are used to measure traffic or to advertise. Some information is also stored in your browser's local storage, which works similarly; where we say "cookies" below, we include those.

Authentication / session token — [insert actual name, e.g. the Supabase auth token]. Keeps you signed in securely between pages and visits. Essential. Duration: [session / duration].

Cookie-banner acknowledgment — remembers that you have already seen the cookie banner so it is not shown again. 

Our Platform providers. Two service providers are involved in delivering the Platform, both under data processing agreements:

• Vercel — application hosting. Vercel may set strictly necessary cookies for security and load balancing. Data processing addendum: https://vercel.com/legal/dpa

Neither provider is permitted to use Platform data for their own advertising or profiling.

No analytics on the Platform. We do not run Google Analytics, or any other analytics or advertising tool, anywhere on app.gamified.club. Because the Platform processes children's data, this is a deliberate design decision, not an oversight — and the DPDP Act 2023 in any case prohibits tracking and behavioural monitoring of children.

Our public marketing website uses Google Analytics to measure how many people visit, which pages they read, and how they arrived. This helps us understand whether our explanation of the programme is working.

• What it collects: pages viewed, approximate location (from IP address), device and browser type, and referring source. Google Analytics assigns a random identifier to your browser.
• What it does not collect: your name, your child's name, or any information from the Platform. No student data exists on this website.
• Who else sees it: Google processes this data as our analytics provider. Google's privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy and its explanation of data collected on partner sites is at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
• Website hosting. Our website is hosted on GoDaddy, which may set its own strictly necessary cookies for site delivery and security.

Opting out. You can decline analytics cookies through the banner on the website, block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

No selling of any data to anyone. No profiling of any child, ever, on either property.

On the Platform: "We use essential cookies to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used." Choosing Accept dismisses it; Learn More brings you here. Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function, they are set when you use it; declining means not using the Platform, or blocking cookies in your browser.

On the website: because Google Analytics is not strictly necessary, the website's banner must offer a genuine choice — accept or decline analytics — and must not set analytics cookies before you choose.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to the Platform, since the login session depends on them. Blocking analytics cookies has no effect on anything you can see or do.

If we add any cookie beyond those described here, we will update this policy, update the relevant banner, and where the cookie is not strictly necessary, obtain your consent before setting it.
